Taking a page from the successful Mingles Cafe, we created Mingles Express Grill to fill the void expressed by many that there needs to be a place in the Bronx where great take out food can be found.

Mingles Express brings you the best takeout in New York City. Our Fried Chicken may just cause you to bite your fingers off if you’re not careful. Oxtails? Nothing comes even close. Our Mango BBG Wings are to die for, and our Signature Irie Pasta puts us in a category all by ourselves. There’s Irie Pasta, and then there’s, well, whatever that is. No comparison whatsoever!

TIrie Pasta

Our Signature dish is IRIE PASTA.

Made with an attention to detail unseen anywhere else, our tri-color pasta is made from the best semolina flour available. Cooked at the just right temperature, we toss some fresh veggies and then blend it all in a special white sauce. The result; there simply aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe this masterpiece; you just gotta have it to know.

RACQUEL HAYNES

Chef Racquel attented the College of Arts, Science and Technology in Jamaica, WI. This is where she began her foundation, majoring in Culinary Arts. Chef Racquel’s primary strengths are great creativity and the ability to create tasty dishes and flavor levels on the fly. She has an exceptional ability to motivate and work well with others. Some of her most popular dishes include Hickory Smoked Ribeye Steak, Rasta Pasta, Apricot Glazed Oven Baked Chicken, Jerk Salmon, Mango BBQ Wings, Kale Salad with a Thai Peanut Dressing, Piña Colada Cheesecake, Sweet Potato Pudding with Appleton® Sauce and her famous Rum Raisin Bread Pudding, just to name a few. When asked what her favorite part of being owner and chef is, she replied “seeing a smile on my customer’s faces while they’re eating gives me the greatest satisfaction”.

Welcome to Mingles Express Grill. It’s been a long, hard journey but I’ve finally been able to bring to you my passion, great food! Our selections comprise the best of Caribbean and American cuisine, but with added flair. I hope you enjoy and look to see you regularly.
